The Workshop: speak clearly when it counts.

A half-day presentation and persuasion workshop for up to sixteen people. Your team practises giving clear, brief, convincing answers, and gets individual feedback every round.

Book a conversation Half day. In your offices or remote.

What your people practise.

  • Clear answers

Lead with the point. Give the answer first, then the reasons, in an order a client or colleague can follow and repeat.

  • Short answers

Say it in half the words. Cut the preamble and the hedging, and know when to stop talking.

  • Unexpected questions

Take a question you did not prepare for, buy two seconds to think, and give your best answer then, not on the walk back to your desk.

  • Making a case

Argue for a position, hear the objection, and respond to it without losing the thread. The core of persuasion and negotiation.

Most of the session is spent speaking.

The method comes from competitive debate, where speakers learn to organise a thought in seconds and deliver it under a time limit. Each skill is introduced briefly, then practised in short rounds. Every participant speaks, gets direct feedback, and tries again.

The group is capped at sixteen so that everyone gets real time on their feet, not one turn in a crowded room.

Built from your work, not generic scripts.

Exercises are drawn from the situations your people actually face: client calls, internal meetings, pitches, and hard questions from senior colleagues or clients. Before the session, we ask what those situations look like in your organization.

  • Answering a client's direct question
  • Briefing a senior colleague in two minutes
  • Pitching an idea
  • Pushing back in a negotiation
  • Delivering bad news
